1. Overview

Socio is operated by Logicircuit Private Limited. If you use Socio as a parent, teacher, driver, staff member, or school administrator, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. This page explains how to submit that request and what happens next.

This policy satisfies account and data deletion requirements for mobile app stores (including Google Play) and applies to all Socio portals and mobile experiences.

2. Who can request deletion

You may request deletion if you are:

• A parent or guardian with a Socio parent portal account.
• A driver with a Socio driver portal account.
• A teacher or staff member with a Socio account.
• A school administrator requesting deletion on behalf of a user at their school.
• An individual who signed up for beta access or contacted us through our website.

3. How to request deletion

You can request account and data deletion using either of the following methods:

Option A — Contact your school administrator (recommended for parents, teachers, and drivers)

Most user accounts are created and managed by your school. Contact your school's authorized administrator and ask them to remove your Socio account. The school admin can deactivate your portal access and initiate deletion of your personal account data from the platform.

Option B — Contact Logicircuit Private Limited directly

Email us at sreeram.maganti@thelogiccircuit.com with the subject line "Socio Data Deletion Request". Include:

• Your full name
• The phone number or email associated with your account
• Your role (parent, driver, teacher, staff, or admin)
• The name of your school
• A brief statement that you wish to delete your account and associated personal data

4. What data will be deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize:

• Your login credentials and portal account
• Your contact information (name, phone number, email) stored in your user profile
• WhatsApp communication preferences linked to your account
• Device and session tokens associated with your login

School operational records: Data that forms part of your school's official records (such as attendance history, fee records, grades, or transport logs) may be retained by the school as required for legal, regulatory, or administrative purposes. In such cases, your personal account will be deleted but anonymized or archived records may remain under the school's control. Contact your school administrator for details on their retention policy.

5. Processing timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and complete account deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve an outstanding dispute. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.

6. WhatsApp opt-out

If you only wish to stop receiving WhatsApp messages (without deleting your entire account), reply STOP to any Socio WhatsApp message, or email us at sreeram.maganti@thelogiccircuit.com. This will remove you from WhatsApp communications but will not delete your portal account or school records.
